So what are some bands, which you really enjoy, that Digital Gunfire introduced you to?

mind.in.a.box , Absurd Minds, State of the Union, Les Anges de la Nuit, Pride and Fall, Angels and Agony... many more

Good stuff, and I really enjoyed hearing about the snow... This weather is unbearable.

How long does it typically take to have one's request played, because often I miss mine.

Quite an impress model. Reminds me of a Spider Drow (I can't recall what they were called at them moment)

I see that I am replying rather late, but anyway.
I think you have a great sound, maybe a few adjustments to the vocals.

Hunter J7

That is an amazing story.

And like you I record various machine sounds, and attempt to turn them into music Here is an example https://soundcloud.com/sektor-zeit/machine

Anyway thank you for your insightful input.

And I will listen on.

General Discussion / Industrial and dub step...
« on: June 03, 2013, 01:04:25 PM »
Recently I have been hearing songs by Industrial artists that are incorporating dub step sounds, and frankly I think it is ruining the original sound.
Thankful I haven't heard many songs played here with the dub step sound, I request we keep it that way.

Do others agree that dub step should stay out of Industrial Music?

General Discussion / Digital Gunfire Promotion

I am a moderator of the Industrial Music Community on Google+.
And every month or so I post promotions for DigitalGunfire.com, because I think it is the best Industrial Music station anywhere.
Several people have started listening and loving it.
I hope others are promoting as well.

I presently unable to listen to the Stream in Winamp or Flashplayer on the site.
I hope this is just a minor glitch, and I can't really complain since I am no longer a subscriber...

Fact: Music can not die, for it is not a physical organism.

Music is an ever evolving living organism, consisting of numerous styles, emotions, thoughts, hopes...(words can describe music)

I believe that true music is created with the intent of sharing, or adding to this organism, and by doing so this addition in shared across the earth inspiring mankind.

In my case I find that the vast majority of Futurepop, Synthpop, Industrial...etc is true music.

***When I say sharing I DO NOT mean download it for free, Every song I have downloaded since 2008 has been purchased. Although I would much rather pay the artist directly.

Thank you, for the information.

Definition of the word similar

sim·i·lar/ˈsimələr/Adjective
1. Having a resemblance in appearance, character, or quantity, without being identical.
2. (of figures) Having the same shape, with the same angles and proportions, though of different sizes.

These bands seem to be similar, In my eyes; which is apparently not a common view.
So i guess you're right, i would not fit term Rivet Head. :]

Thanks again,

Neu.Macht

The song begins with a female robotic voice quoting the book of Genesis. the word 'God' is eventually replaced by the phrase 'The Machine.

I can't remember the name of the song, I thought it was by Funker Vogt, but after looking through their songs it doesn't seem likely. The song may be by a similar artist.

I would appreciate any help, this has been bugging me for weeks now.

Thanks,
Neu.Macht
