General Discussion / Re: OHGRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH my god.... what a great show! Could be that I've never been graced with the chance to see this man perform before, living in Vancouver and all, but it was amazing! The new album isn't what I'd consider to be amazing ohGr material, but combined with a truly emotional deep and riveting stage show it was Ohgr at his best, doing what he was born to do :D

It wasn't all DIMD though... there will be more than enough old ohGr to get the dance floor roaring! This is not a show to miss or one that will be easily forgotten!!

General Discussion / Re: Use and Abuse of the Request System

is there some way to check if the requesting user is still connected before it plays the request, or perhaps remove all requests from a user once they disconnect?

bring a good point about abuse of the karma system for sure... it would force people to be active in a positive way, but karma wars would be bad, and some people are in such a deep hole already :P

making requests karma based or something might be a good idea... giving more weight to requests from people with high karma, and not letting people with negative karma request or something?

From what I understand, the request will stop showing on the web page for you just as it goes into the play queue or sometime just before it's about to play... did you ever end up hearing it?

Apparently 'Hate This' has only been on a compilation CD called 'Rape this Industrial World Vol. 2' But I really can't find anything about it. I'll continue to look tomorrow though.

Actually, looking at Discogs the above statement is totally wrong. Like swampfoetus, the closest I could find was Zillo. Do you remember anything else about the CD? Artwork or a title?

I think it's fair to guess that this was a burnt disc with a bunch of random stuff on it since with that much information i think it'd be impossible to not find the disc if it was an actual released compilation or something lol

And sorry, I'm at a loss as to what the second song there is... :S

If you're up for it, I recently picked up a Compilation CD from an Ex-Girlfriend (while she was still the girlfriend) and it had a bunch of tracks that were really good and some I had never heard of before.  These songs are two of the songs I have not heard and can only surmise information about.

1) The band sounds kinda' like Andi from Icon of Coil (in his early years) and the Lyrics contain this "When I look at you to *leave* there's nothing else that I gotta' say.  'Cause I melt into your eyes girl." *leave* is presumed I cannot make out the word in it's entirety.

First song is 'Melt into your eyes" by Faderhead off of his album FH1. Don't have time to look at the second one yet, I'll try to post it later today if i can ;)
