General Discussion / The new VNV track

Not awful, but that wind-up at the end is silly...
Enjoying the polished, upbeat synthpop ALOT, but ... he really turned up the happy to 11 this time... going to have to binge on combichrist just to cleanse the palate.

Das Ich, Flesh Field, and Solitary Experiments were especially exciting discoveries.... though if I hadn't tripped over DG in college I may have worn out my NIN CDs and left it at that...

Thanks, DigitalGunfire. Thanks for making the music on terrestrial radio sound revolting.

Give a listen to Mind in a Box's RETRO, superb use of cartridge-style instrumentation...

I went into the woods and got it.
But could not get it out so I left it there.
Then took it home with me.

I'm liking the new interface, pro on keep it simple, stupid (kiss) design. A one-time fee for a one-time download, dedicated app seems pretty resonable. Just not having to mess with it while driving is worth it.

Unless you rooted your phone, it's up to your carrier to push updates, not all models on all carriers get 2.2 .

Sweet, it works. Adios, StreamFurious.

Was using StreamFurious free app on Droid 1 but recently it went all wonky after an update.

Yea, pretty much I've never gotten bored with Reznor. I actually liked Year Zero and With Teeth a lot.

Zero interest in the movie, ZERO!, but anyone try out the soundtrack sample?

If things go real bad, I'd strongly consider Australia. 5.7% unemployment, low taxes, a real healthcare system, kick-ass cars, and the Shiraz flows like water. Though me and my Trek are in love with the Netherlands.

Agreeing, really enjoyed FLA's recent albums, especially Civilization's masterfully layered, moody tracks, but this new sharper, refocused tangent is just incredibly refreshing. It's like FLA is all shinynew.

Really enjoying this album... plugged this thing into my car stereo expecting a soft, gradual descent into infinite layers of fog and hard, pulsing rhythms, instead was pleasantly surprised by inspired, elemental kick-ass. When's the last time you headbanged to FLA? Agriff brings it. Afterlife is just haunting, swore it was some kind of cover but I can't find a source, best FLA lyrics evar? Can't seem to coax Rhapsody to play all the tracks so off to Amazon I go...

Note to paranoid people like me: If the new navigation doesn't work, remember to enable JavaScript for the domain...

I don't like the new FLA logo.

Just sayin'.
