This is awesomesauce, thought FF was dead and done with, game over man. Been keen on the band (band?) ever since I heard Damnation off of Belief Control. I think Strain was my commute soundtrack for like six weeks straight, literally.

I ripped off the grandma joke from somewhere...it can supposedly open docx, but I don't see an option to save to it. Then again, it saves to PDFs sans Adobe, which is pretty handy.

You can actually try OpenOffice by running the Windows PortableApps version off a flash drive, though that might send off IT alarms if you try running it on your workplace computer.

I tried 2007 for an hour and I went right back to 2003. The interface is like walking in on grandma taking a shower... nothing's in the right place...

Why not try OpenOffice? It's Writer is like Word 97, no stupid ribbons or nothing, and it's got a formula editor. The database program kind of sucks, though.

Yea, these StreetView links are tricky or something because instead of ass I was greeted by epic nerds.

Imagine my disappointment.

Follow the street to the left till you see some grocery store. With a guy and a girl standing in front.

And lol at Simons cat. He looks a lot like our cat.

wasn't that a fashion at some point? shoestring panties sticking up above their low-rise pants?

I guess that whole area staged some stuff for the Google van, 'cuase there's a dude in a Ham suit leaning up against the far side of the grocery store. Next to the "Fresh Fruit and Vegetables" sign.

Keep going up Sampsonia St and you'll see a progression of staged gags, including runners, this dude wailing on a guitar in his garage, a cheesy attempt at some kind laser accident or something, a marching band, people throwin' confetti.

Sounds like a javascript issue. Does it happen when you turn off javascript?

I think in the quote Google is referring to satellites in the context of the terrestrial photos being tagged with coordinates.

Yea, these StreetView links are tricky or something because instead of ass I was greeted by epic nerds.

The way I interpreted "No, this is an invasion on your privacy" was that by clicking on a StreetView link, ostensibly to invade the privacy of others, in fact your privacy has been invaded by Google, who recorded your IP, computer configuration, location, and interest industrial music, being referred by digitalgunfire. They may even have recorded our interest in ass or nerds.

Though my understanding is this thing:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722

foils Google's javascript tracking.

Today's satellite-image technology means that...complete privacy does not exist. - Google

Translation: Satellite imaging technology's mere existence reduces privacy irrespective of application or legality.

Wow, no clue why so much trouble with the links, they work across my computers' configs.

Should be two D&D nerds fighting with swords (epic), and then the second one is a motorcycle accident (brutal).
