First try at lyrics on Shifting Through the Lens. This is probably pretty bad, please improve if you can hear it better than I can. The last paragraph is really incomplete.

Also, what do you think it's about? People buying stuff that kills them?

Edit:

For Angriff I can't get the lyrics for the refrain that starts at about 03:30. I've got the rest pretty much but there isn't much point posting with such a big chunk missing. :-(

I updated the lyrics after seeing Xeno's version

Shifting Through The Lens
-----
mindless human faith
lays naked there to waste
neurotic choking eyeballs
fuels paranoid crazed cells
slide into darkness, slither down the shaft
slide into darkness, slither down the shaft of hell

movements mirror his subjects
shifting through the lens
dirty shadows dissipate
dissolve into myself
slide into darkness, slither down the shaft of hell

sterilize all contact points
inhale if you want to breathe
dirty poison oxygen, delivers shiva need
sterilize all contact points
inhale if you want to breathe

sterilize all contact points
inhale if you want to breathe
dirty poison oxygen, delivers shiva need
sterilize all contact points
inhale if you want to breathe

sterilize all contact points
inhale if you want to breathe
dirty poison oxygen, delivers shiva need
sterilize all contact points
inhale if you want to breathe

body parts bleached
amputated feelings
fluid core dismembered
dissolved into abyss

Making a try from scratch...

mindless human faith
plays naked dance aways
neurotic choking eyeballs
fuels paranoid crazed sounds
slide into darkness - slipping down the shaft
slide into darkness - slipping down the shaft of hell

? mirror his subjects
slipping through the lens
dirty shadows dissipates
dissolve into myself
slide into darkness - slipping down the shaft of hell

sterilize all contact points
be what you want to be
do you poison oxygen (or) deliver symphony
sterilize all contact points
inhale if you want to breathe

sterilize all contact points
be what you want to be
do you poison oxygen (or) deliver symphony
sterilize all contact points
inhale if you want to breathe

sterilize all contact points
be what you want to be
do you poison oxygen (or) deliver symphony
sterilize all contact points
inhale if you want to breathe

body burns
please let me do it
feelings
?
dismember
the sound into abyss

Im personally more excited by the new Eden Synthetic Corps release.
Cant wait to get it =D

Got 'em both on order  =D

Sucks that this is a Rhys-less album, but I guess it's worth it if there's a new Conjure One album forthcoming.

My thoughts listening to the first track:
"Nice, kinda has a modern but old-school feel.  Track moves along very nicely, has a good flow to it.  And no more guitars, I think I could like this."

My thoughts listening to the second track:
=/

Here's what I've got for Angriff. Thanks to Mr-Emulator at the Mindphaser forums for telling me the chorus I couldn't figure out was in German. :-)

Still best guesses so any help, particularly on the last line of the German chorus, would still be appreciated!

Angriff (Attack)
-----------
Rows and rows of crosses
standing in the sand
statues of the fallen
watching over the land
tomb of the unknown soldiers
lays tilted in decay
another year passes on remembrance day

There a hole in the sky
I've got blood running in my eye
I'm exposed to force attrition
battle cry for admission
smoke filled air burns my head
fields with toxic filled despair
there no way to get back
whatever honor you once had

Kampfbereit in der Zeit (ready for combat in time)
Kammeraden dürfen wir nicht vergessen (we must not forget our comrades)
Die Blumen liegen auf seinem Körper  (the flowers are laying on his body)
Das Requiem für den Letzten (A requiem for the last one)

Rows and rows of crosses
standing in the sand
statues of the fallen
watching over the land
tomb of the unknown soldiers
lays tilted in decay
another year passes on remembrance day

beyond forgiving they'll have died
aiming with their rifle sights
they give their all when they're called
to save the masses, to take the fall
the shot, the screw(?), it never ends
the constant conflict without an end
the final struggle from within
will then replace our misery

Kampfbereit in der Zeit (ready for combat in time)
Kammeraden dürfen wir nicht vergessen (we must not forget our comrades)
Die Blumen liegen auf seinem Körper  (the flowers are laying on his body)
Das Requiem für den Letzten (A requiem for the last one)

The good, the bad, it's all sad
Nothing left but a body bag

There's a hole in the sky
I've got blood running in my eye

Kampfbereit in der Zeit (ready for combat in time)
Kammeraden dürfen wir nicht vergessen (we must not forget our comrades)
Die Blumen liegen auf seinem Körper  (the flowers are laying on his body)
Das Requiem für den Letzten (A requiem for the last one)

Kampfbereit in der Zeit (ready for combat in time)
Kammeraden dürfen wir nicht vergessen (we must not forget our comrades)
Die Blumen liegen auf seinem Körper  (the flowers are laying on his body)
Das Requiem für den Letzten (A requiem for the last one)

Kampfbereit (ready for combat)

tomb of the unknown soldiers
lay stilted in decay

"tomb of the unknown soldier
lays tilted in decay"

ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomb_of_the_Unknown_Soldier_%28Moscow%29

anyway, samples for all the songs of I.E.D. are available at Dependent now. Sounds really really good
(only thing that sounds totally out of place is the track "Stupidity" with Al Jourgensen, sounds like a Ministry track...)

It's out now!
« Reply #22 on: June 24, 2010, 09:59:25 AM »
It's out on iTunes, Amazon.com, and last.fm.

It's on the Rhapsody player but not their website yet as of the time of this message. The "deluxe" album doesn't have all of the tracks for some reason but the regular I.E.D. album does.

Edit: If you get the Deluxe album on iTunes you also get a pdf of the album booklet with the lyrics.

Really enjoying this album... plugged this thing into my car stereo expecting a soft, gradual descent into infinite layers of fog and hard, pulsing rhythms, instead was pleasantly surprised by inspired, elemental kick-ass. When's the last time you headbanged to FLA? Agriff brings it. Afterlife is just haunting, swore it was some kind of cover but I can't find a source, best FLA lyrics evar? Can't seem to coax Rhapsody to play all the tracks so off to Amazon I go...

I can never resist a new FLA release or live performance. Although many past albums have been worse than weak and many of the concerts featured Leeb 'going through the motions', I am still often surprised by the bands work. Usually I listen to the album before buying now, which makes for a less disappointing aftermath. Although 'Tactical Neural Implant' will always the the band's xenith, they still are the tops in my books!

I guess we have different scales...

some of the albums might not be bullseye with me (a.e. FLAvour of the Weak), but
I still consider every album since and including Caustic Grip a masterpiece...

Agreeing, really enjoyed FLA's recent albums, especially Civilization's masterfully layered, moody tracks, but this new sharper, refocused tangent is just incredibly refreshing. It's like FLA is all shinynew.
